Circuit Court Probation serves the Circuit Court by preparing pre-sentence investigation reports and other Court ordered reports/investigations. When offenders are sentenced to probation, probation staff supervises the offender(s) compliance with their respective orders of probation, which include statutory conditions such as reporting as required, but may include other conditions as ordered by the Court. All staff members in this department are employees of the State of Michigan.
