Live Broadcast Requirements & Troubleshooting

The Live Streaming Broadcast uses the JW Player to embed the Peregrine Falcon Breeding Season broadcast into the page.

JW Player is the world's most popular embeddable media player for websites. It supports a wide array of platforms, browsers, and media formats. It is open-source software which is easy to configure, customize, and extend.

Connectivity Issues


If you are having connectivity issues with the live streaming broadcast, follow the following instructions to test your downstream bandwidth. A minimum downstream bandwidth of at least 1.0 Mbps is required.
  • Visit the SpeedTest website
  • Click on the green Begin Test button to initiate a speed test.
  • Once complete, your downstream bandwidth is displayed in the "Download Speed" box
