As of April 13, the Center for Family Health will have a covid hotline operating and drive-through testing (by appointment only)

The hours for the CFH COVID Hotline is 

  • Monday-Friday 8am to 9pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 9am to 6pm

All testing is done by appointment

Effective Thursday, June 11, Henry Ford Allegiance Health’s COVID-19 Drive-Through Screening and Testing Center is moving to a new location—the Henry Ford Allegiance Specialty Center parking lot, located at 110 N. Elm Avenue. 

Community members who want to be tested for COVID-19 are asked to call the Henry Ford MyCare Advice Line at (313) 874-7500 (press 1 for the HFAH site) to be screened and to schedule an appointment. The Drive-Through Screening and Testing Center is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The COVID-19 Drive-Through Screening and Testing Center uses current CDC testing criteria. Anyone exposed to someone known to have COVID-19, or who has the below symptoms, may be tested.

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever or chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell

In Michigan, testing criteria has been expanded to include:

Asymptomatic (without symptoms) individuals who are preparing for surgery.

Those who work in a profession that puts them at high risk of exposure due to contact with the public.

Those who work in certain industries, such as food processing.

Anyone with life-threatening symptoms, such as shortness of breath, should go to the Emergency Department.
