COVID-19 vaccines are being offered at the health department on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the hours of 8:00-11:30 am and 12:30-4:00 pm.

For a list of sites where vaccine is located and currently available, check out the CDC's Vaccine finder page.

What is the current vaccine guidance?

The latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention outlines how to stay up to date on your COVID-19 vaccine.

Eligibility and Spacing of Vaccine Doses

For people who have a health condition that weakens their immune system, the immune response to a COVID vaccine may not be as strong.  Guidance on vaccines for moderately to severely immunocompromised is located on the CDC webpage.

Antiviral Treatment Information

If you test positive for COVID-19, you may be eligible for oral antiviral treatments such as Paxlovid or Lagevrio. Oral antivirals are medications (pills) that stop the virus that causes COVID-19 from making copies of itself in your body and help you feel better faster. The medication is available with a prescription from your health care provider and needs to be taken within 5 days of your symptoms starting.

If you are unable to afford antiviral medication for COVID-19, you may be eligible for financial assistance through Patient Assistance Programs.

Pfizer has a Patient Assistance Program for Paxlovid called PAXCESS. This program will help you pay for your medication if you do not have insurance, or if your insurance does not cover the cost of the medication.

Anyone can sign up by contacting the manufacturer:
Call: 877-219-7225
Visit online: Paxlovid

Merck has a Patient Assistance Program for Lagevrio for patients who do not have insurance or other coverage for prescription medication and have a household income under $60,240 for individuals, $81,760 for couples, or $124,800 for a family of 4.
