Effective Monday, April 11, 2022 Zoom breakout rooms in the Court of Hon. John G. McBain will not be available for private meetings with clients other than when a need arises during a hearing. No longer will the Court make breakout rooms available for consultations prior to hearings.

HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY OF YOUR PSI REPORT
Attorney Representation
Your attorney may pick up a copy from our courtroom up to two days prior to your sentence date, or on the day of sentence. Reports cannot be mailed/faxed/emailed to the attorney because of confidentiality concerns and they cannot be picked up by the defendant.
Self-Representation
If you are not represented by an attorney, you may pick up a copy of your report from our courtroom prior to your sentence.

PLEA POLICY:
Any plea on a criminal case must be accepted by the court the Friday before the scheduled Jury Trial commencing the following week.
After the following week, the plea must be as charge. This avoids dilatory practices and avoids jurors and witnesses from an unnecessary court appeared. This also allows the Court to schedule other matters for the trial period.
